BLUE WATER MARITIME SHIPPING "BWMS" was established officially in 2019 with a work permit No. 123347. The opening of the company's main office in Shabwa Governorate coincided with the completion of the purchase of Tug- Blue Water in December 2019, followed by company's second office in Aden Governorate in early 2020, which serves as the operations office for the company.

Tug-BLUE WATER is equipped with the newest techniques and devices that comply with the International Marine standards. The company is also keen to fulfill all of the navigational requirements such as Classification Society certificates, flag, marine professional surveys and other technical necessities that would facilitate the work in the locally as well as internationally.

For three consecutive years, Tug-BLUE WATER has been working in the Yemeni ports with zero error recorded. In a competitive period of time and with the increased pace of work the need was sensed to add a new vessel. Thus Tug-Blue Water II was added in December 2022 forming a combination of a fleet of two distinct vessels owned by BWMS.

Tug-Blue Water II been joined, the capabilities highly increased. With the support of its fleet of vessels being precisely surveyed and maintained, in addition to active professional marine certificates and approvals with its professional marine crew; all together is promising for the company to be engaged and prepared to join and actively be part of large marine projects. As the company from the beginning has offered services such as SBM and mooring/unmooring, towing and salvage operations, supplying ships with fuel, all types of anchor handling and removing wrecks operations, firefighting and anti-pollution services and many other marine services provided by the company.

Aside from all mentioned and unmentioned services, BWMS along with its fleet has been actively preparing for a larger scope than just providing marine services. All elements synchronously have been competently prepared participate in huge navigational projects, such as rebuilding and rehabilitating Yemeni ports that were affected and neglected in the past years due to war and the toxic situation of the country.

It is worth noting that the company does not rely on a third party to manage its vessels. Rather, the company holds a marine management certificate; Document of Compliance, that enables it to manage its vessels and proceed marine recruiting and manning appliances. With the DOC certificate, the Company can support other marine companies with management and manning demands they call for.

BWMS is keen to comply with safety standards on board of its vessels, by ensuring that the Tugs are equipped with navigational safety equipment, as well as with professional needed marine surveys and regular checks in accordance with the maritime law. All to be compatible with the P&I Club and H&M Insurance coverage provided by specialized marine insurance companies.
